Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the InsilicoΣ platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

InsilicoΣ ("we", "our", or "the Lab") is an academic research laboratory providing computational tools for drug discovery, cheminformatics, bioinformatics, and polymer science.

Description of Service

InsilicoΣ provides web-based computational research tools, including but not limited to:

• ADMET-Σ — multi-tier ADMET property prediction for drug candidates
• QSAR-X — quantitative structure-activity relationship modeling
• POLY-X — polymer property prediction (Tg, Tm, and more)
• CRAFT — bio-context fingerprint generation for drug targets
• NEXUS — network pharmacology and multi-target analysis
• APPAS — active pharmaceutical pathway analysis
• REINVENT4 — de novo molecular design

These tools are provided as research aids. Results should be interpreted by qualified researchers and validated through appropriate experimental methods.

Research Use Disclaimer

Our tools are NOT intended for:

• Clinical decision-making or medical diagnosis
• Direct therapeutic recommendations for patients
• Replacement of laboratory experiments or clinical trials
• Regulatory submissions without independent validation

All prediction results (ADMET properties, toxicity scores, binding affinities, polymer properties, etc.) are computational estimates derived from machine learning models and cheminformatics algorithms. They carry inherent uncertainty and should be used as a starting point for further investigation, not as definitive conclusions.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any prediction for a particular purpose. Users are solely responsible for validating computational results through appropriate experimental methods.

Account Terms

To access certain tools, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the platform to design or optimize chemical weapons, biological agents, or other substances intended to cause harm
• Submit excessively large requests intended to overload or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to bulk-extract data from the platform
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission

Intellectual Property

Your Data

You retain all rights to the molecular structures, research data, and inputs you submit to our tools. We do not claim ownership of your research data. By submitting data, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it through our computational tools solely for the purpose of providing you with results.

Our Platform

The InsilicoΣ platform, including its software, algorithms, trained machine learning models, user interface, documentation, and underlying methodologies, is the intellectual property of InsilicoΣ Lab and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without explicit written permission.

Research Output

You are free to use, publish, and cite prediction results obtained from our tools in your research papers, reports, and presentations. We appreciate citation of our tools in academic publications — please refer to our Publications page for citation information.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and system upgrades
• Hosting provider outages or network issues
• Unexpected technical failures
• Updates to prediction models and algorithms

As an academic research lab, we provide this platform on a best-effort basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or tool at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InsilicoΣ Lab and its members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, profits, or research outcomes
• Damages arising from reliance on prediction results
• Damages resulting from service interruptions or data loss
• Costs of substitute goods or services

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us through our contact form.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period, unless otherwise required by law.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate courts.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
